2021-2027 Interreg VI-A Lithuania-Poland programme approved

We are happy to share news that Interreg Lithuania-Poland has officially been adopted by the European Commission on 26 September 2022. The Programme document outlines the programme strategies and priorities.

The overall objective of the Interreg VI-A Lithuania-Poland 2021-2027 Cross-border Cooperation Programme is improving wellbeing of cross-border communities through cross-border cooperation and sustainable use of cultural and natural heritage of the Lithuania and Poland cross-border area.

The total amount allocated for the implementation of the Programme is 57.133.546 EUR. The European Regional Development Fund’s contribution to the Programme is 45.706.836 EUR (80 % of the total budget).

The programme is structured along with 3 priorities:

Priority 1. Promoting environmental wellbeing;

Priority 2. Promoting physical, emotional and cultural wellbeing;

Priority 3. Strengthening cooperation of local stakeholders.

After receiving an official green light from the European Commission, we are actively working on preparing the documents for potential applicants.
