NewsLatest update: 2022.04.12Interreg VI-A Lithuania-Poland programme document submission to the European Commission![]() We are pleased to share with you that today an important milestone of development of Interreg VI-A Lithuania-Poland cross-border cooperation programme for the period 2021–2027 has been achieved – Programme document was officially submitted to the European Commission for review. During the last Programming Task Force meeting on 11 February 2022, Member states representatives agreed on a final draft of the Interreg Programme, including three priorities: 1. Promoting environmental well-being; 2. Promoting physical, emotional and cultural well-being; 3. Strengthening cooperation of local stakeholders for the future to focus on. The overall objective of the Programme: improving well-being of cross-border communities through cross-border cooperation and sustainable use of cultural and natural heritage of Lithuania and Poland cross-border area. The European Commission will now assess the Programme document, provide some comments and after corrections are done, it is expected to formally approve the Interreg VI-A Lithuania-Poland Programme 2021–2027 (provisionally in the second half of 2022).
