News about applications of the 5th call for proposals

The Interreg V-A Lithuania-Poland Cooperation Programme opened the 5th call for proposals on 4 May, 2020 and there were already 58 applications received by 4 September, 2020. During the first, the second and the third on-line Joint Monitoring Committee meetings regarding selection of the 5th call for proposals 13 projects out of 32 were approved. The amount of ERDF funds to be allocated to these projects is 7,8 million EUR.

 

Rest of the projects left for selection of funding:

  • 6 applications were received for Priority 1 - preserving and protecting the environment and promoting resource efficiency;
  • 5 applications were received for Priority 2 - promoting sustainable and quality employment and supporting labour mobility;
  • 11 applications aiming to contribute to the implementation of Priority 3 - promoting social inclusion, combating poverty and any discrimination;
  • 4 applications of Priority 4 - enhancing institutional capacity of public authorities and stakeholders and efficient public administration.

The total value of these submitted applications is 19,5 million EUR. The requested amount from the European Regional Development Fund is almost 16,6 million EUR.

The indicative ERDF funds available for the 5th call is about 11.4 million EUR. This call for proposals is continuous and applications can be submitted until all funds have been allocated, but no later than 30 September, 2020.
