PROGRAMMING TASK FORCE FOR PREPARATION OF THE 2021-2027 LITHUANIA-POLAND CROSS BORDER COOPERATION PROGRAMME MEETING

On 13th July the virtual meeting of the Programming Task Force post 2020 Lithuania-Poland Cross-border Cooperation Programme (PTF) members was held. The meeting was chaired by Ms Monika Jurczyk, representative of the Ministry of Development Funds and Regional Policy of the Republic of Poland.

At the meeting, the updated working plan of the PTF and the Terms of Reference regarding needs and potentials analysis were approved. Following the decisions, the Joint Technical Secretariat will initiate the public procurement procedure for preparation of the needs and potentials analysis.  The objective of analysis is to provide an evidence-based diagnosis for preparation of the cross-border cooperation programme INTERREG 2021-2027 between Lithuania and Poland. The needs and potentials analysis should indicate possible advantages, cooperation trends, problems and challenges of cross-border area.

The next PTF meeting is scheduled for 29 September.
