RESULTS ABOUT APPLICATIONS OF THE 5TH CALL FOR PROPOSALS

The first on-line Joint Monitoring Committee (JMC) meeting regarding selection of the 5th call for proposals projects received until end of May was held on July 24.

During the meeting 5 projects out of 8 were approved. The amount to be allocated to these projects is more than 3 million EUR.

Official information to the Lead beneficiaries of projects from No. LT-PL-5R-348 to No. LT-PL-5R-355 will be sent shortly.

Further decisions on the next part of the projects shall be taken in the next JMC on-line meeting on August 12, 2020.

The Interreg V-A Lithuania-Poland Cooperation Programme opened the 5th call for proposals on 4 May, 2020 and there were already 40 applications received by 24 July, 2020:

  • 8 application were received for Priority 1 - preserving and protecting the environment and promoting resource efficiency
  • 6 applications were received for Priority 2 - promoting sustainable and quality employment and supporting labour mobility.
  • 13 applications aiming to contribute to the implementation of Priority 3 - promoting social inclusion, combating poverty and any discrimination and
  • 13 applications of Priority 4 - enhancing institutional capacity of public authorities and stakeholders and efficient public administration.

The total value of all submitted applications is 25 million EUR. The requested amount from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) is 21.4 million EUR.

Please be reminded, that the indicative ERDF funds available for the 5th call is about 11.4 million EUR. This call for proposals is continuous and applications can be submitted until all funds have been allocated, but no later than 30 September, 2020.
