The event “Odecthnij na zdrowie” carried out as part of the strategic project „Partnership of Health Resorts as the Basis for the Development of the Borderland”
The festival was a great opportunity to spend July weekend in the atmosphere of relax, music and health. This event was a promotion of tourist and health assets of spas in Polish-Lithuanian borderland. It was filled with animations and healthy lifestyle promoting activities.
There was also some entertaining music. Performances of local and national artists from Poland and Lithuania gathering both older and younger people from all around the region and beyond.
Participants were able to learn first aid and shooting skills or how to recognize differences between forest tree species.
In the centre of Gołdap there was Health Town organized, offering culinary workshops and lessons about healthy diet, breathing technics, water and massage. There was also an opportunity for psychologist and physiotherapist consultations, and even possibility to take part in Yoga, pilates and slow jogging classes. The Town was filled with handicrafts and local cuisine stands.
As a part of cross-border nature of the event, the city was visited by representatives from the Lithuanian city of Birštonas and Polish city of Augustów. They presented the potential of spas in Lithuania and Podlskie Voivodeship.
