Project summary:
The project brings together partners from Lithuania and Poland to promote the shared Yotvingian heritage and develop “The Mysterious Land of the Yotvingian Tribe” as a unique cross-border tourism destination.
The partners are creating a cross-border tourist route that connects 20 historical, cultural, and archaeological sites, improving visitor infrastructure, modernising museum exhibitions, and introducing a common visual identity supported by digital solutions such as QR codes. They are also developing a joint tourism strategy and promoting the route through coordinated marketing activities.
By combining cultural heritage preservation with the principles of sustainable slow tourism, the project strengthens cross-border cooperation, enhances the attractiveness of the border region, and supports local communities by encouraging sustainable tourism and regional development.
