The European Commission is inviting feedback on a new initiative designed to strengthen the resilience of EU regions bordering Russia, Belarus and Ukraine. This comes in response to the ongoing consequences of Russia’s war of aggression against Ukraine.
The Call for Evidence outlines short-, medium- and long-term actions to tackle complex challenges, including:

restrictions on cross-border contacts,

threats to physical and cyber security,

the weaponisation of migration and disinformation,

persistent economic underperformance.
