In May 2024, the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Regional and Urban Policy, in cooperation with the Ministry of the Interior of the Republic of Lithuania and the Ministry of Development Funds and Regional Policy of the Republic of Poland, assigned the preparation of the study “Directions and prospects of the tourism sector development in Lithuanian-Polish borderland” to the external contractor KREATUS Ltd. Poland.
Consultation meetings (August 2024) and cross-border workshops (January 2025) were among the activities conducted in the borderland during the project lifespan.
Another activity is an online survey addressed to the Lithuanian and Polish beneficiaries of the cross-border tourism and cultural projects. The survey topics include, among others, the recognition of directions on the development of cross-border tourism offers and related hard and soft infrastructure and the assessment of the willingness of Lithuanian and Polish partners to strengthen cross-border cooperation in the tourism sector.
Participating in this survey takes only about 15 minutes.
