Project idea:
As part of the project, we would like to continue the operation of the
"Kraina Żubra" Tourism and Promotion Center. The Center building is located in
the heart of the Białowieża Forest, on the road No. 689 on the Hajnówka-Białowieża
route. Inside, there is a year-round, certified (3-star)
tourist information point, a conference room and a gallery room where local
artists can present their works. In addition, we are interested in creating a
common cultural trail, organizing joint bicycle rallies, thematic walks, cultural
events, workshops (which can take place in the building) in which local
residents of all ages can be involved. We are also interested in creating a
common culinary trail and publications on Podlasie and Lithuanian flavors. We
are also open to your suggestions.
