Project idea:
The aim of the project is to provide residents with quality drinking water supply and wastewater
management by reducing water pollution in the municipalities of Varėna and partner country.
The implementation of the project would contribute to the Zero Pollution Action Plan – a political
initiative of the European Union, which aims to achieve zero pollution by 2050 reduce pollution across
the EU to zero.
During the project, there will be an opportunity to establish professional contacts for local and
regional stakeholders of both countries.
The project will aim to implement joint actions aimed at reducing water pollution.
