Project Title: History Drives the Future (Istorija Veža Ateitį / Historia Napędza Przyszłość).
Project Acronym: HIS-TOUR.
The project is focused on the priority objective of program 2.2 RSO4.6:
Strengthening the role of culture and sustainable tourism in economic development, social inclusion, and social innovation.
The project aims to install specific equipment – attractive artistic-informational “bubbles” in the section of the Kaunas-Bialystok road, where innovative cultural tourism highlights related to captivating aspects of the history, present, and future of Poland and Lithuania will appear, conveying the content exhibited to target audiences using popular means and methods.
We will use the material collected by the project partners, insert cultural programs linked to the project content, and create new original expositions.
During the project, we will prepare interactive installations and exhibits, attractive gaming, and digital and artistic tools to promote audience attraction and open new tourism spaces in Lithuania and Poland.
The main target groups are children and youth, families, and Ukrainian war refugees.
The goal of the project – is to jointly prepare and implement a “mirror” innovative form of sustainable cultural tourism in Lithuania and Poland that would attract a broad audience of participants, including vulnerable social groups, and contribute to the economic development of the project regions.
