On October 28 and November 11, in cooperation with the Lithuanian Rural Network, the Foundation for Peatland Restoration and Conservation is organizing online lectures for farmers and landowners about the restoration of peatlands used in agriculture and the opportunities for farming on them. During the event, examples of good practices in peatland restoration and use will be presented, as well as information about support for participation in eco-schemes related to the use of wet peat soils. The planning procedures awaiting farmers and landowners wishing to restore peatlands on their land will also be presented and discussed.
