Project summary:
The project aims to enhance the capacity of fire and rescue services through collaboration, knowledge sharing, and joint preparedness efforts. Expected outcomes include improved emergency response, strengthened skills, and reduced environmental impact. Key outputs include: Joint training programs and large-scale exercises to build competencies of fire and rescue personnel. A shared mobile application to improve communication and coordination among partner organizations. Collection and dissemination of best practices for emergency management, with emphasis on environmental protection and CO₂ mitigation. The project benefits fire and rescue services, local communities, stakeholders, and the environment. Its cross-border approach enables resource sharing and integrated responses. The innovative use of a shared mobile application and joint exercises enhances collaboration and effectiveness in managing forest fires and other emergencies.
