Project summary:
The Clean water for everyone project aims to improve water quality and environmental protection in the cross-border region of Suwałki (PL) and Šalčininkai (LT). It addresses common challenges related to groundwater and surface water pollution, insufficient wastewater infrastructure in rural areas, and low environmental awareness among local communities.
Through cross-border cooperation, the partners implement infrastructure investments, improve wastewater management, and carry out educational activities promoting responsible water use and environmental protection. The project contributes to cleaner rivers and groundwater, healthier ecosystems, and greater public awareness, supporting the long-term protection of the Neman River basin and the Baltic Sea.
