The CROSS project brings together Birštonas in Lithuania and Puńsk and Korycin in Poland to strengthen cross-border cooperation through recreation, culture and sustainable tourism.
The project develops new and improved recreational facilities in all three locations: a brine graduation tower at Milewszczyzna Cultural Park in Korycin, a 900-metre health and educational path around Lake Punia in Puńsk, and year-round chess and petanque pavilions in Birštonas.
By combining outdoor activities, wellness, culture and eco-tourism, CROSS creates new opportunities for residents and visitors, encourages cultural exchange and strengthens the expertise of tourism professionals.
