Project summary:
The project brings together kindergartens from Lazdijai, Lithuania and Ełk, Poland to improve the quality of education and care for children with special needs and promote social inclusion. The partners share experience and develop new approaches to support children, families and teachers across the border.
The project includes joint staff training, family festivals, visits to other kindergartens, partner meetings and a teacher exchange programme. It also supports the development of specialised outdoor classrooms, improvements to nursery rooms and a new playground. The partners build a lasting network for sharing knowledge and good practices, helping to ensure that the solutions developed through the project continue to benefit children and local communities after its completion.
