From 19 to 21 September 2025, the Interreg Lithuania–Poland Programme celebrated culture, creativity, and cross-border cooperation at the 17th Fair of Nations in Vilnius— for the first time as a three-day celebration.
The highlight? A massive 5×7 m programme-themed colouring wall and floor, buzzing with children and families. Alongside it, visitors explored cross-border projects presented by Alytus Regional Museum with partners from Suwałki and Lazdijai—through VR experiences, wooden puzzles, and tote-bag painting.
Visitors also spun the Wheel of Fortune, answered quiz questions, and took home Interreg-branded souvenirs, while a lively photo booth captured the fun.
Vice-Minister of the Interior Vaidotas Jakštas opened the event, and a spectacular Interreg Cooperation Day cake added a sweet finale.
This three-day celebration was the largest Programme’s outreach initiative of the year, showing how the programme strengthens cooperation and improves life in the border regions.
