The Monitoring Committee met in Augustów, Poland, on 26-27 September 2023 to select projects of the 1st Call for Proposals for funding, to discuss the communication strategy and evaluation plan of the Programme and to elaborate on the future Programme implementation.
As a result, 24 applications have been selected for the Programme funding. Among them, 12 projects were selected under the 2nd priority “Promoting physical, emotional and cultural wellbeing”, 7 applications – under the 3rd priority “Strengthening cooperation of local stakeholders” and 5 applications – under the 1st priority “Promoting environmental wellbeing”. The total amount to be allocated to the projects is nearly 19 MEUR (over 15 ERDF). Contracting of selected projects is planned for December 2023.
As the Programme is undergoing amendments, the Monitoring Committee members approved the amended Programme document and agreed to submit it to the European Commission. The changes foresee the expansion of the Programme territory, budget and inclusion of new priorities. The amended Programme document was submitted to the European Commission on 2 October 2023.
Participants have also discussed the future calls for proposals. The 2nd call for proposals for small projects is planned for the beginning of 2024 and the 3rd call for proposals for regular projects is planned for the 2nd quarter of 2024.
