Balts’ Road is an ambitious cross-border initiative that unites the natural and cultural heritage of Lithuania and Poland into a single, cohesive travel destination. The route connects unique Balts’ heritage sites—including sacred springs, ancient trees, forests, lakes, monuments, and modern attractions—offering visitors an immersive experience that goes far beyond traditional sightseeing. Travelers can engage in educational programs led by skilled craftsmen, explore the spiritual and historical roots of the Balts, and enjoy authentic local cuisine that reflects the region’s cultural richness. The project’s main goal is to ensure the sustainable preservation, development, and promotion of the natural and cultural assets, services, and products within the cross-border regions. By fostering collaboration between partners and emphasizing sustainability, Balts’ Road seeks to enhance the visibility and attractiveness of these areas, inspiring deeper appreciation and respect for their heritage. Ultimately, the initiative aims to weave together the past and present, strengthening cross-border ties and leaving a lasting legacy for future generations to explore and cherish.
