Project summary:
The project promotes the shared cultural, historical, and architectural heritage of the Lithuanian–Polish border region by developing a modern and sustainable cross-border tourism product. It strengthens cooperation between Lithuanian and Polish tourism institutions, creates joint tourism routes, and improves access to information about attractions beyond administrative borders. A key innovation of the project is an AI-based tourism assistant that provides personalized travel recommendations and routes based on visitors’ interests. Integrated into websites and social media platforms, the tool offers reliable and up-to-date information without the need for a separate application. The project also introduces innovative cultural solutions, including interactive murals and other artistic installations, while improving tourism infrastructure in rural areas and small towns. The project promotes the common heritage of Lithuania and Poland, supports year-round tourism development, and builds long-term cooperation between partners, contributing to the creation of an attractive and sustainable cross-border destination.
