Project summary:
The Border Safeguard project strengthens cooperation between the Lithuanian and Polish Border Guard Services to improve public safety and security in the cross-border region. It addresses common challenges such as irregular migration, cross-border crime, and crisis situations, while supporting effective joint border management.
Through cross-border cooperation, the partners enhance their institutional capacities by developing innovative solutions, conducting joint training activities, and improving operational capabilities. The project contributes to stronger cooperation, increased preparedness, and a safer and more secure border region for local communities and Europe as a whole.
