Project summary:
The project brings together Polish and Lithuanian police partners, with additional cooperation from the Police Presidium in Brandenburg, Germany, to strengthen security in the Polish-Lithuanian border region. Its main objective is to improve cross-border cooperation in searching for missing persons and combating vehicle crime. The project includes the creation of Mobile Operating Centres on both sides of the border, joint police training, a study visit to Lithuania and the development of an algorithm for coordinating search operations and recommendations for Polish-Lithuanian cooperation against vehicle crime. These solutions will improve coordination, information exchange and operational readiness among police forces, while the cooperation established through the project will continue beyond its completion, contributing to greater security for border-region residents.
