Project summary:
The project aims to empower seniors in Alytus and Orzysz by promoting entrepreneurship, workforce participation, and social inclusion. It addresses challenges of aging societies, including economic strain, labor shortages, healthcare needs, and social isolation.
Key activities include training in digital skills, mentoring, networking, business fairs, and creating an “idea bank” of best practices. The project supports seniors in developing business ideas, encourages active participation in the job market, and fosters a culture where older people remain socially, economically, and creatively engaged. Its innovative approach positions seniors as valuable contributors to the cross-border economy and community life.
